Rocky Lippold

Rocky Lippold is an Enrolled Agent with Tax Break, LLC. He has over 30 years of experience providing accounting, tax, and consulting solutions to a variety of clients in the commercial and public sectors. He has an extensive background in Financial Planning, Cash Flow, and Budgeting. Rocky also serves as an engagement partner for a variety of clients in the not-for-profit and commercial industries.

Rocky started the firm while serving in the Army for 23 years, where he held several leadership positions. During his time, he was a Fire Support NCO, managed a Human Resources department in Germany, and was an Army Career Counselor.

Rocky earned his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia College. He is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP), the National Society of Tax Professionals (NSTP), and a number of professional and trade organizations. He is also a lifetime member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Bridget Lippold

Bridget brings an impressive 26 years of professional experience from her career in the Federal Government, where she held various positions. Notably, she spent over 20 years with the Department of Justice in multiple capacities, including paralegal, payroll clerk, and contracting officer. These diverse roles have equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of government processes, compliance, and administration. Her background in payroll and contract management, combined with her legal expertise, adds an additional layer of skill to her work in accounting and tax services.

In addition to her work with the Department of Justice, Bridget has gained valuable experience in estate and elder law as a paralegal, where she worked closely with families and individuals navigating complex legal matters related to aging and end-of-life planning. This experience has further enhanced her ability to handle sensitive client issues with professionalism and care.

Bridget’s academic credentials include a paralegal certificate and an associate degree in paralegal studies, both of which have laid a strong foundation for her multifaceted career. Her commitment to continuous learning is evident through her membership in the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP) and her completion of numerous specialized courses in tax preparation and QuickBooks. This combination of legal and financial knowledge makes her a versatile and valuable resource for the clients of Freedom Accounting and Tax.

With her extensive background, Bridget is dedicated to ensuring that the firm’s clients receive the highest level of service, drawing on her deep experience in both the legal and financial sectors.

Hillary Strubinger

Hillary holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and brings a wealth of experience to her role at Freedom Accounting and Tax, where she has worked for the past seven years. With previous positions at Jackson Hewitt and Regions Bank, Hillary has developed strong expertise in accounting, tax preparation, and financial management. She is proficient in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Drake Tax, and various payroll systems, ensuring accurate and efficient services.

Growing up in a family of small business owners, Hillary has a deep understanding of the challenges entrepreneurs face and the time commitment required to run a business. She has seen firsthand the impact of having the right financial information available—or not—and is committed to ensuring her clients have the data they need to succeed.

In addition to her professional role, Hillary is a proud mother of two and an active community volunteer. She regularly assists at her children’s school and is the Troop Leader in her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop. Known for her excellent customer relations and communication, Hillary is dedicated to providing personalized, professional support to every client.

Dean Lippold

Dean Lippold is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience at Freedom Accounting and Tax. As a Certified Tax Representation Consultant, Dean specializes in helping clients navigate complex tax issues, ensuring they receive expert guidance and support. His comprehensive understanding of tax law, combined with his dedication to client success, makes him a trusted advisor in the field.

In addition to his professional credentials, Dean brings a wealth of personal business experience to the table. He owns and manages both investment and rental properties, as well as a small farm, giving him firsthand knowledge of the unique financial challenges and opportunities that these industries present. This direct involvement helps him connect with clients who run similar operations, offering tailored advice and practical solutions to help them succeed.

Dean’s entrepreneurial spirit extends beyond his current ventures. In the past, he has owned and operated a gun shop and a route sales business, which provided him with valuable insight into the day-to-day operations and financial management of small businesses. He also served as a county appraiser, giving him a deep understanding of property valuations and real estate tax considerations.

His diverse background allows Dean to approach each client’s situation from multiple angles, offering comprehensive, real-world advice based on his own experiences in business ownership, investment, and tax consulting. Known for his dedication to detail and personalized service, Dean works closely with his clients to help them achieve financial clarity and long-term success.

We will look to find a way to maximize your profits, whether it be on a monthly expense, tax implications, or zeroing in on the products or services that make you the most money. We use a Voice Over IP system that forwards to our employees mobile phones. This means you should never hear a voicemail answering system. You will get to talk to a person every time you call. This way you know that your questions and concerns will be taken care of as quickly as possible. Without clients, we don’t have a business. We are here for you.
